![]() | The Reichstag, the Luftwaffe HQ, the soviet memorial in Tiergarten, Gedächtniskirche, Führerbunker, Topography of terror, Checkpoint Charlie(post-war but still ) , Wilhelmstrasse which was the street where Hitlers chancellery was located and all the other "important" buildings of the third reich. And as you walk around in Berlin, you spot some old houses, left from the war, that still has bullet holes in them.Michael |

![]() | I'm posting some of the pictures from Berlin now. Picture nr. 1-4: The Kaiser- Wilhelm Gedächtniskirche, which was damaged during the bombing of Berlin. The whole building is covered which bullet and grenade holes. Really interesting place. Picture nr. 5 A memorial dedicated to those who died while trying to escape from east/west berlin. Picture nr.6 "The Berlin Wall" One foot in the east, one in the west. ![]() Picture nr.7-9 The memorial dedicated to the murdered Jews of Europe. It contains 2700 concrete stones, all in various hights. There is also a museum underneath the site. Picture nr.10-11 The Reichstag. The whole Reichstag building still has scars from the war. As with the Church, it's covered with bulletholes. Picture nr. 12 Me inside the Reichstag. After the war, the russians wrote their names on the walls inside the building. There are some american names there aswell. Picture nr.13 More bulletholes, this time on the roof of the Reichstag. Picture nr.14 On the third "thing" to the right of the right statue, is where the red army soldier raised the flag. I think you know what I'm talking about ![]() Picture nr.15 The place where the nazis burned jewish and other books, that wasn't wanted by the nazi regim. Very historical site! I have more pictures that I will upload soon, don't have time to do it now! Watch and enjoy! ![]() |

If they're very large files it's sometimes worth shrinking 'em somewhat before uploading (perhaps the easiest way is with windows Image resizer). Sorry I can't help much more than that, Cheers, Adam.

![]() | That tour was really every euro worth it. We had to wear safetyhelmets inside the tower due to safety regulations, and unfortunately we were not allowed to take pictures inside. Seeing this amazing fortress was really something. I can only assume how terrifying and claustrophobic it must have been living inside those thick concrete walls in a little world of its own.
