Revamped my WW2 site

I have tidied up and redesigned my Battlefields of WW2 site; see -

http://battlefieldsww2.50megs.com/

Hope you like it. More on Normandy to be added after the summer, as I have a couple of weeks there during the holidays.

Good stuff.
Also some excellent Links on there.

I liked this:
"If you would like me to review any ww2 related products then drop me an email"
Very wise. Fingers crossed for freebies by post.

Which is better then? Flames Of War or Rapid Fire?
(There's been a bit of an outbreak of 30-something 1/72 army building round my way)
Cheers,
Adam.

Hi Adam - funny enough I do get swamped with books to review, not that I am complaining! Would be nice to see a few minis, occasionally, too! I did have a guy send me a WW1 trench system for 10mm which is on my WW1 site.

FOW or RF - tough one. I like both, but have only played RF. I have had FOW since it came out, but they have focussed on mid-war, which is not my period... they are now moving into late-war, so should be interesting.

My Avatar is the memorial to the 22 Commonwealth Coastwatchers at the Temakin Cemetery on Betio (Tarawa Atoll) who were beheaded by the Japanese on 15th October 1942. http://www.dva.gov.au/media/publicat...mem_beito.html

"You were given the choice between war and dishonor.
You chose dishonor and you will have war."

(Winston Churchill made this prophetic pronouncement in a House of Commons speech in 1938, just after Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signed the Munich agreement with Hitler. Chamberlain returned from Germany with the signed agreement in hand, proclaiming that "peace in our time" had been achieved. Churchill attacked Chamberlain's "politics of appeasement" in this and many other speeches.)
