Oh well, I suppose not that many of you have seen the Pacific war sites I have so it's not all bad.
Look forward to it!

Yes, I envy your visits to th Pacific Theatre - I will make it one day, I am sure!

Re: Off To Normandy

Just got back today; weather has been awful all month in France, but had an excellent two weeks in Normandy, and will post some photos etc when I am back at work next week.

Re: Off To Normandy

Hi Brian - yes, visited the Hermanville area and Pegasus, plus down to St Charles de Percy one day, which is not far from Vire and where men from that period of the fighting are buried.

I have been busy since I got back and will put some photos up on here soon. I promise!

Hi Owen,

Just re-registered after a few months away.

Its a shame I didn't get on the forum before my recent trip to Normandy. I took a few photos for a member of the Great War Forum at St Manvieu. Hope that Paul got you what you needed. Took us ages to find the cemetery - it is not easily seen from the main road but well worth a visit.

Hiya Liam,
No, Paul "forgot" his list. mmmmmmmmm
Was there last October and walked past this one lad's grave who I didn't realise was there until last Christmas.
