'Haight Ashbury Pattern' ?

I'd thought "why did they leave the barrel all rusty" before realising it's smoking a fag.

It seems rather inspired by that awful Arnold Bocklin typeface beloved by the Hippy Generation designed in 1904 by Otto Weisert.

Really very 'Panzerish' aren't they.

Well, well. I remember reading somewhere that the Sherman track design was superior to the German design in that it was much more reliable and long-lasting. Then those silly Canucks go and copy the German design! And put in on a SHERMAN!

The Firefly at Hechtel (if anyone's over this way) has been temporarily moved to the Army museum at Leopoldsburg for the duration of a road-widening scheme so don't drive around looking for it !

Talk about one man's meat is another man's poison !
You say:

I love that typeface and one of the reasons that I will be shortly visiting Prague is to drool over Mucha paintings and his posters that feature exactly that type of font.

Sorry mate !

Fair enuff, ron.
Have a great time in Prague.
Lovely city, haven't been for over 15 years now.
I hope you are going to take your digital camera and get some WW2 related photos for us too?
