Exclamation WWII Paperwork @ Beltring

For those attending Beltring - 16th-20th July.

War & Peace Show 2008 - Home

For those who would like some of the WWII paperwork I offer... I wont have a stall there (yet!)... but if anyone wants some paperwork, I'll make it up and wander round with it in my gasmask bag. You'll be able to find me amonst the stalls... I'll be a WAAF Officer wandering round with a WingCo.

PM me with bits you would like and I'll do my best to bring them along! I'm there on Saturday only. If needed, I'll let you have my mobile number to send a text to find me Or... let me know specifically what display/stall you are and i'll try and find you

Deb

I would happily produce a british set... if I had any idea what the paperwork looked like! I've never seen any british paperwork All I have is either an army set of paperwork... or civilian.

Hi D foreman. That made me laugh. Quality. Just the thought of you wandering about in a uniform at a war & peace festival. Proper getting into the feel of things.

Nice one.

War and peace has never been 'proper' though lol

It's something I've never come across. I do wonder if it was either a civvy thing or perhaps a branch of the army maybe.

Well I haven't a clue, I imagine there'd be ID issued by the NUJ, alongside ID issued by the publisher and also ID issued by the WD. I've not seen them either. Maybe the National Archive has a copy, I've done a simple search but it's not turned anything up.

If its any use to anyone, I've got RAF paybooks available too. £8. Can bring those to beltring too or post if needed.
