Whata great pic of a very well used Marder3 I think (sure one of the real rivet heads will confirm?) . The top supstructure is missing ,it Quite lightly made. The mixture of old and newer type road wheels. I reckon this exmaple had a few allied tanks to its name. Looks like its done a few miles.

    Nice pic.

Looks like one of Alfred Becker's confections, the GW LS(f) auf 15cm in North Africa??? Captured French 15cm artillery piece mounted on a Lorraine Schlepper tracked carrier hull...

Very rare early Jagdpanzer4, Looks like its been hit with HE shell not AP.

See that the (i think) its the machine gun port has proved wekaness and the armour has cracked. Judgingh by the damage lower down it look like its had a few stickes. Its a great pic and shows the tickness of the front armour looks like about 60mm. Broken right round the welds (brittle, poor welding).

I dont think Pic 4 is the same vehicle looks like a panther turret. I dont think the JPz4 had a cupola.

    It's a PzJgr IV Ausf. A

In the front I count 4 impacts. Yes, the MG port was a weakness point. See the failed weld seams!

The last pic is a Panther indeed, but look how the armour fractured altogether.

Looks like it took FIVE hits to weaken it - three inside the edges of the "scab", one outside...and the bottom left one nearest the camera that seems to have been the final straw...

I wonder if the Panther was already disabled before the 5 shots were fired at the Turret.

I say this as five shots are a lot to take in almost the same place when on the move, plus the turret has to be stationary and not trying to return fire.

An interesting photo that poses a few questions in itself.
