MC Citation for 130721 Major Geoffrey Vardon MARTIN

    Can anyone help? Searching for the MC Citation awarded for actions at Overloon in October 1944 for Major G.V Martin, CO B Coy, 1/Suffolks. I think he was attached to the Suffolks from the Wiltshire Regiment.

    Brilliant. Many thanks for that D. The Panther in question is Panther 222 which currently resides in the museum at Overloon. The information board at the museum incorrectly states that 222 was knocked out by men from 2/East Yorkshires and the citation confirms something I'd read elsewhere. They've also replaced some of the PIAT damage as well but that's another issue..
