Hi I found this during a visit to the Imperial War Museum a couple of weeks ago. It was taken with my phone so sorry about the poor quality. The one at the top, obscured apart from "yth" might be Bill Blyth who went on many missions with Major Lassen. I am struggling to find anything online for Lt. A. P. B. Goor (or is it Geer?) or Lt. W. Hanson. Any ideas? Gus
The YTH belongs to Capt Blyth above him are Lapraik, Sutherland and Jellicoe. Its definitely Goor not Geer. Cheers Arnhem
Hi After a lot of digging it turns out that Lt A P B Goor's address was the wartime location of the Belgian Consul General for Ireland who was Maurice Goor. This I must assume is his father. It look like Maurice Goor was consul in Ottawa before moving to Ireland. Maurice Goor was born 1877 and died in 1959. His wife Jeanne (nee Leemans) died in 1970. Both are buried in Ireland. I think they had 5 children. Louis (aka Lewis) and four others. Not having any luck finding other the siblings names. Gus

Thanks for this. It certainly looks like one of the siblings. But probably not the one with the initials A P B. I'll do a bit more digging on ancestry and findmypast and see what comes up.
Could this be him - maybe the initials are transcribed incorrectly UK, British Army Lists, 1882-1962 A. B. B. J. Goor 1941 The King's Royal Rifle Corps 2nd Lieutenant A. B. B. J.
