There are currently some really interesting medals and other Soviet related WW2 militaria on the following website. It is not often that you see Soviet medals alongside the recipients papers and other details: Latest stock | London Medal Company
If the German items on that site are anything to go by they are overpriced. I have a Stalingrad medal & award citation and paid half of what they are asking and there are plenty of Order of the Red Stars on the market that are less than £100.
I wasn't advocating anyone making a purchase, just interesting to see the paperwork that goes with the awards.
By all accounts they are a nice bunch and professional but maybe it is the location that affects their asking prices (i.e rent & facilities).
Probably right, I've been to the shop one one occasion. There were some wonderful Victorian groups on offer, but way out of my league.
