Hi all,

Doing some research and have drawn a blank as to when this man would've actually recieved his MiD.

His LG entry is dated 01/01/1945 but when would he have done whatever he did to receive such a an award?

Also any help with these units would be most appreciated

You give no name but as the entry was gazetted in the New Years Honours list it was probably meritorious service during the previous year.
