    Hi all,

I’ve been tasked by my Grandmother to order a replacement set of miniatures of my late Grandfathers medals.
I know some of them but am needing to make sure all are identified correctly before I place the order, so here I am, picking the brains of the more knowledgeable

If I’ve done this right there should be a picture of the miniatures as they are, and a few pics of the full size medals to aid in identification.

Thanks you in advance of any assistance

Due to the emblem on the ribbon I think this is the Empire Gallantry Medal.

Thanks Tim. I saw the laurel but the medal reads for `meritorious service rather than the EGM `For Gallantry`? .This one appears gold I think it should be silver ?
EGM (The Empire Gallantry Medal) was revoked by Royal Warrant on 24 September 1940 when all recipients were asked to swop for the newly initiated George Cross ? .

Another reason for me to visit Specsavers. What then is the significance of the emblem? I'm no medal expert but as far as I know this emblem only goes with the EGM. Interesting.
