High Wood

The tattered remains of an Armoured Carrier Wheeled - Indian Pattern Mk II in a paddy field near Pegu. I cannot now remember the exact location. Clearly the local scrap merchant has removed various pieces for recycling.

Thank you for posting the link, it is appreciated. The photograph was definitely taken in Burma but could well have been brought there by the Japanese from Malaya. I cannot give an exact location for the photograph but it was taken in 1986 somewhere on the road from Rangoon to Pegu.
