1633 - 1983 THE ROYAL REVIEW By Her Majesty The Queen Holyrood Park, Thursday, 30th June 1983 The Queen is received by a Royal Salute. Her Majesty then Reviews the Parade. The 1st Battalion Troops the Colour. March Past in slow and quick time. The Royal Scots reform line and fire a Feu de Joie advancing in review order and give a Royal Salute. Her Majesty's Address to the Parade. The Colonel of the Regiment replies. Three Cheers for Her Majesty The Queen. March Off. The Feu de Joie is a salute of musketry fired successively by each man in turn along the line and back.  The Royal Scots advancing in Review Order towards Her Majesty on the Saluting Base in three stages and the Feu de Joie fired at the halt each time as six bars of the National Anthem is played.  Quite spectacular.
