      Cor, surely that's beyond rare?

      So,
The dummy that is in the film D-Day(or was it Bridge too Far?),is what?
      A hollywood mock up?
I must admit it looked a bit sophisticated for mass production
      Doh

That's a fantastic bit of kit! Presumably the arms and legs were filled with sand or something to pack it all out?
    • stemereshop
Hello all, yes as far as I can find out it must have beend sand, some people say straw but that would have been to light they would have ended up miles off course
    • stemereshop
The Dummies used in the film were a plastic molded figure, these have now been reproduced and are being offered for €2000 !! for a copy of a copy
    • Combover
Were the dummies of the type used in the film used beyond a couple of examples?
    • stemereshop
Hello I believe there would have been about 20 plastic ones made for the film. There have been 50 copies made for the 50th Anniversary of the film but these are €2,000 each !!
