Sidney Sevier and family.

Cpl Sidney George Sevier with his wife Jean and children, Peter, Ronald and Margaret. This photograph was taken in Southampton early in the war. Sidney served with the 62nd (Chemical Warfare) Coy, Royal Engineers who, along with the 58th and 61st (Chemical Warfare) companies were part of the 1st Chemical Warfare Group, R.E. They served with the B.E.F. in France between 1939 and June 1940. They were attached to GHQ reserve between September 1940 and December 1941. They had disembarked in India by the 11th June 1942 and were converted to HQ XV Indian Corp Troops on the 1st May 1943.
