The attachment shows my fathers service record. 13 Aug 1940 - he was attached to 182nd Inf Bde. 23 Nov 1940 - he was posted to 182nd Inf Bde 10 Jan 1941 - his unit is shown as 182 HQ Inf Bde On searching the TNA archives for 182nd War Diaries I have found: WO 166 6632 JAN - DEC 1942 WO 166 10800 JAN - DEC 1943 WO 166 14355 JAN - DEC 1944 WO 166 16451 JAN - SEP 1945 What I have not found is anything relating to 1940 or 1941 Has anyone any ideas Thanks in advance for the help TD
Guys I think I have solved my own problem - just found a reference to WO 166/1047 AUG 1939 - DEC 1941 So why did this not show up on a search for 182nd Inf Bde????? TD
