Around 1943 my mother-in-law, as a very young woman, became an inspector on bomber aircraft construction (possibly Wellingtons?) at a satellite factory based in Llanberis, North Wales. Does anyone have any information on the location and work of this factory? I think it may have been ‘The North East Coast Aircraft Company’ that presumably had been relocated.
Any information would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

Try searching with "aircraft factory" + "Llanberis" and there are some signs there to such a place.

Shown in this quote as a factory making aircraft components at Dinorwig Quarry, Llanberis

During the Second World War, the North East Coast Aircraft Company (NECACO) relocated from England to the Victory Works, beside Victoria Dock, and to the Dinorwig slate quarry, Llanberis. The Victory Works was primarily used to train many of the 3,000 staff, who made components for some of the RAF’s most famous planes – including the Halifax, Lancaster, Stirling and Wellington bombers. Later in the war they were instrumental in producing engine casings for the Gloster Meteor, the first jet fighter deployed by the RAF.
