Is anything known in Poland about the Anglo-French plan in early 1939 to aid Finland in the Winter War? From official documents that I have been studying the Polish Government appear to have agreed to take part in a planned intervention to support the Finns.

I think Poland was already overrun by the time the Soviet Union attacked Finland. Polish troops (in Exile) took part in the invasion of Norway, possible they volunteered to serve in Finland?
    Take care,

    Neil,

Thanks for your comment and you are right. I have just obtained full details of the plan to send an Anglo-French Force to Finland in early 1939. The Polish troops (Independent Podhale Rifle Brigade) was part of the French Force.
