6346811 Ernest Charles WISE, a stretcher bearer with 4th Queens Own Royal West Kents, a BEF POW, casualty lists have his date as 15/6/40 but I've seen that quite a lot and think it may be a tidy up date, the end of the campaign or something rather than the actual date he was captured

14636602 James Reginald PENNEY (book has Penny but the signature looks to have an e as do casualty lists and enlistment book) of 2nd Sherwood Foresters who was taken POW 29/2/44 when shortly after relieving another unit at night in heavy rain they were heavily attacked at Pontoni in the Anzio beachhead, in terrible conditions and unfamiliar positions they suffered heavy casualties
