Hi all I'm after some advise. Over the last five years I have been researching my Grandfathers experiences in the second world war. Ive been lucky enough to obtain his service records, red cross report, prisoner of war questionnaire and I'm currently waiting to see if there is a POW index card at the national archives for him. I also have looked at war diaries for his unit in May 1940 when he was captured. I was wondering if any of you guys can advise me were else I can get any documentation that may mention my Grandfather? Ive been searching for pictures of his unit (the 1st searchlight unit) but have had no luck. Could anyone advise me were to look for regimental photos? Any advise is appreciated Alex
