Picked this photo up from eBay the other day. Not sure which camp it is though. Don't think it is Laufen or Spangenberg. Anyone have an idea?
same pic on D's guards website. there is a list of names on the reverse. see pic on here STALAG XVIIIA, WOLFSBURG, AUSTRIA can't find similar building there yet, not saying that's where it is just thought you'd like to know about the names on reverse.
Thanks Owen. It looks to be identical but mine has nothing written on the reverse so the one you've found is very useful. I've noticed with a few of these photos that there seem to be multiple copies in circulation - presumably as the Germans thought there was good propaganda mileage to be had out of allowing the prisoners to send photos home showing them being well treated.
