Sorry, I was a bit to fast on concluding my thread was removed. Somehow I can not see it in my own list of threads, but somewhere is can still be found under title of "Help on 11th Armoured division in Antwerp".

Maybe this is not the proper place to ask, but can anyone help me to get my thread back on the forum? I can only retrace it through the likes I have received in reaction to it, but it does not show up in my list of threads and it does not show up in search results. At first I got quite a number of reactions to it. I now understand why this has stopped. Is there anyone who can help me to get it "active" again?

I had a very similar thought re. this old thread of mine from a while back: http://ww2talk.com/index.php?threads/royal-artillery-162-m-h-a-a-regt.57543

i.e. About a relative, and just being unable to find it again, via various attempts on search etc. and hence just assuming it had gone. But when I looked in my "likes"

I was very happy to see it was still there :)

    All the best,

    Rm. :salut:

Don't be scared to ask us admin/mods if you have any issues at all.
Gives us something to do & we don't know if there are issues that need sorting if you lot don't tell us.

Von Poop is aware of this issue as I brought it to his attention a week or two ago.

Apparently the fancy search system that was implemented when the site reincarnated collapsed and had to be reconfigured. During this maintenance period, the indexing of the site might not have been working properly, which basically seems to mean that the board's own list of what's here isn't complete.

If we're lucky, subsequent indexing operation will re-add the missing threads to search and personal posting histories. In the meantime, Google search is the best bet for locating things that don't turn up.

Personally, I'm missing everything I posted in November.

Found thread in UNIT HISTORY but not under any of the sub-headings, moved it to Unit History-Allied General & it now appears in your list of threads. Just looked at your profile 8RB
