Hi, I'm new to the forum and have really enjoyed perusing the posts here. Over the past 15 years or so I've been doing some research around a particular WWII Allied Prisoner of War Encampment (CCPWE #19) located in Foucarville France. It was behind Utah Beach. My Great Uncle was a Captain in the US Army and stationed there. When he returned home he brought with him a book that detailed the growth of the camp. When he passed, my father inherited it and I've been periodically doing research on it ever since. I'll post a link to photos of the pages in case somone else on here has any interest. It really is an interesting read and the drawings/charts (many done by German PW's) are pretty spectacular.

Likewise, if anyone has any information about this camp or others like it I'd love to take a look.

    Take care,

    Brandon

That's very detailed record of the camp, Brandon. Thanks for posting.

Do you have a link to that book? My dad was a staff member in the 2029 overhead (mp's there)
