I got this spot on time from Amazon.uk
A very detailed book , well researched. ( WW2Talk gets a mention or two in the sources / Chapter notes). :)
It certainly covers a lot of water and RF does a good job in covering "Fernaufklarungsgruppe5 "Atlantik".
The book deals mainly with the long range JU-290 in its role as weather reconn. , and an attacker of merchant shipping in the last 2 years of the war and the various RAF units which and FAA. squadrons which countered their efforts.
I have yet to read the book in full but having picked it up and read good sized "tracks" of it the book contains much information and for me covers a gap in what currently can be found in print.
The author has a reputation for writing good well detailed books on Luftwaffe aircraft ( Classic Aviations series) and to most folks with an interest in WW2 Luftwaffe aviation he will need no introduction.
The book is well presented photos are well reproduced, font size is good and foot notes are well detailed.
On the down side, there is only one map which is computer generated and it is really very poor and to be honest is quite useless, the index is not too good either ....there is a lot of info in the book and the index is not very detailed and does not serve the reader too well.

Worth the money , IMO yes but it is let down in some of the production values mostly as mentioned above.
