    Cool thanks guys wouldn't of found all this on my own haha! I guess finding people who didn't die in service will be harder to find? As with my Great Grandad who was in Royal Artillery he survived WW2 so would I have to go on the Gov records? website

    Where should I put the new thread Owen? I agree it sounds very interesting, I'll Google and see if I can find some pictures


    And his name was Albert Weale and he served in the Royal Artillery during the last few months of WW2 in Germany and came home after that but that's all I know, I have a few items of his but nothing like records etc

    Just came across this post today. Did original poster get image he was after?
    I completed this cemetery last year and can provide him with image of both grave itself and name on memorial board.

    Within c2.5 hours (08.08-10.38) of responding to my post at #33, I had sent Jack an
    image of the grave + an image of the memorial wall with names + a link to a youtube video I made whilst at the cemetery.

    If I had not come across this post today, Jack would be still looking for those images.....probably?

    Equally: If Jack had heeded the advice of both Tricky Dicky and Owen - where, on 25th August they both advised him to
    contact me - he could have had all those images c12-13 weeks ago!!!

    We do try Folks, we really do.....:banghead:
