Well we are still on 50 litre per day rations. Our dams are at 55.1% at the moment compared to 26% this time last year. The restrictions will only be lifted when the levels get to 85%
We don't have any restrictions yet in my area, but this will come soon enough. I think the temperatures here have been more surprising than the lack of rain. Between 25-32 degrees C for about a month. We Brits just can't cope with it all!!
A basic idea as to using 50 litres per person per day. It's surprising how quickly we adapted though we are only two people and don't have a garden.
Residential water use in my municipality averages 189 L per day, per person. That is entirely due to Ontario having more than 250,000 lakes which contain about one-fifth of the world's fresh water.
Very dry here for at least the past 5-6 weeks. Total fire bans in the province and forest fires beginning to break out. A water bomber (Bombardier 415) on a fill up run about 3 hours north of Toronto. https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10156244422595469
