    Hi,
Can any one help me please? I'm trying to find & get any information & photo on the UK WW2 Troop Ship called "Isle of Guernsey"?
My Cousin traveled on this ship to France on the 5th/6th July 1944.
He was in the Calgary Highlanders!
Can any kind person help me out please? or a Web-Site?

    Thank You
    From
    St Helena :poppy:

Can anyone confirm who was the Commanding Officer of the Isle of Guernsey on D-Day. I have been trying to confirm who this was for some time. I know that Captain E. L. Hill was the ships master in 1940 but I do not know if he stayed in Command throughout the war.

Also on the 21st Oct 1940, it was commissioned as HMS Isle of Guernsey, so their “may” have been a change of command. I believe I found E. L. Hill on the Navy Lists in the 1930’s as a L Cmdr......

Any help would be most appreciated.
