In memory of Richard Charles Gray (my partners Dad who passed away in 2017) and the work he did recognizing war heroes of our country .

I am trying to help Lincolnshire Aviation raise money towards the restoration of Lancaster NX611 which they are hoping to restore fully and return to flight.

I would like to raise as much money as I can in Richard's name to donate towards this worthy cause, as he so much wanted to help them to achieve their aim of restoring this great war plane so it can return to flight.

More details on Lincs Aviation and the project can be found here - Lancaster NX611 Return to flight? - Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre

Please donate even if only a £1 - Help raise £5000 to help Lincolnshire Aviation restore the Lancaster NX611 so it can return to flight

They are definitely very committed to the project and have been working on it for about 30 years now from when they first got hold of the plane

The documentary I linked is well worth a watch if you can, as you can get an idea of the family history relating to the plane they have and see how determined they are to make this project work

I know it is a big project but I do believe if they can raise the funds and time allowing they will get it done

I joined the Vulcan to the Skies project many years ago and as you know it eventually got airborne again.

So lets hope the Lancaster can follow that.
