Thank you so much for this. Would his part in this action or his demise be documented in the War Diaries ? If so is there a way I could access them. I would very much like to visit the site and his grave sometime. Can you advise the best way to do this?

In case anyone is wondering why there was no mention of the anniversary this year in this thread, I have just returned from commemorating the 75th anniversary at Kanglatongbi as guest of honour of the Indian Army. Absolutely amazing time was had by all our party. Will post a few pics when I can sort them out. Lionboxer
