Souvenir of Ireland: The dream of finding Men of Valour (8 Hussars) in a charity shop has not yet materialised. A shop in Westport appears to have acquired Alanbrooke's library but they're going for a bit of a premium, so probably a good thing there's no time to go there.

Damn. Tried to start Christmas shopping online. Found a privately published memoir by Wavell's ADC. Major Alexander Reid Scott MC (11th Hussars) It came out in 2018, but I've never seen a copy before. Caved on the spot.
