Yes, you have to book in advance and are now very limited in how many documents you can request per visit.

Your best bet might be to message Drew5223 and see if he has photographed them in a previous visit.

I think the new restrictions in attending TNA and the amount of files anyone is able to look through on any one day, might mean that the likes of Andy and Lee will struggle to make any trip to Kew worth their while.

Exactly . I get free train travel and it’s hardly worth it

Lee made his first trip back since re-opening the other day: two customers, two files each, and the journey there was longer than the stay.

Not his fault, but what a shambles.

    No doubt spotted by most:

"We’re very pleased to announce that we are now able to expand our reading room services and increase our capacity, so that we can accommodate more visitors and give them greater access to our collections. From Tuesday 25 August we will be opening up our map and large document reading room, as well as increasing the number of seats available in our document reading room. Visitors will be able to order more documents each day and we will have some 2-day appointments available for bulk doc orders. All visitors must still book their visit and order their documents in advance – bookings for 25-28 Aug will be available from next Monday at 10am. We’re also pleased to announce that we have restarted our naturalisation certificates (HO 334) service, although other record copying and paid search services remain suspended for the time being..."
