76 years ago to near this hour a9 man fighting patrol went out to take out a MG position from7Para . Four men never came back in P Ely KMIA my uncle LtHoward KMIA A Burden KMIA and JWebster he is laid to rest in Ranville CWWG cemetery, one of the other three has a high probability of being in an unmarked grave found two years after the war and the other two still lay together , hopefully for not to much longer . So let’s all have a drink for these lads sacrifice , men aren’t made like them anymore

I have known that the 10/11th was the date he was killed, for 50 years my mother thought he died at Arnhem she was 4 years old at the time. The names of the other 3 men came from research,I’ve been looking into his resting place actively for the last 3 years
