  1. Good evening everyone. I am looking to trace my Grandfathers Nave service details from WW2. His name is James Joseph Samuel Campbell Dob 16/10/16 Royal Navy and I believe he was in the Navy from 1937 to 1945?

When checking online there are a number of web sites to check, what's the best one.

Thanks in advance for your help.

None - you will only obtain what is publically available and they are not service records

The ONLY place to obtain service records is from the MOD and the link is here Request records of deceased service personnel

When it comes to service records no, I am afraid, TD is quite correct.
If a person joined the RN prior to 1928 and was still in the service in 1939 then that part of his service record may survive on a paysite such as Ancestry or if he served prior to 1924 then paysite FMP may be of help. However, as I have said, in this case, TD is correct. Apply for his service record from the MOD and take it from there.
