I just completed this basically OOB 1/76 model from Friendship Models which was ably mastered by good friend Dave Rhodes and my thanks to both of them for the well designed and cast sample. This one was based upon a photo with pre-war geometric RA markings which were very difficult to identify. Thanks to a friend of Dick Harley who had access to the Royal Artillery Archive at Larkhill, it was identified as being from the RHQ 2nd Medium Regiment and as identified in regimental records including a sketch of the badge. My thanks to Dick for this great information and also to Pete Marshall for the decals. The figure is a very nice AB white metal one from my stash. I had to re-shape the lower legs to represent riding boots as worn in the late 30's by the Officers. So, here are a few photos of it finished in the standard Dark Bronze Green of the period including the photos which inspired this build.

    Cheers,

    Neil
