It's taken awhile but I finally completed this little 1/76 scale vignette featuring the Royal Canadian Engineers in France in 1944. The 19-RB is a Milicast kit for which I made the master last year, the Chev CMP Dump Lorry is totally scratch-built and the D4 is a 4 Mil Models tractor to which I added the blade and raising mechanisms. The figures are Milicast and Dan Taylor Modelworks and the church ruin is an HQ72 product. Thanks go to Stu Harrison for the CMP wheels and Pete Marshall for the decals. It was a fun project and I spent a lot of time pouring over the various war diaries of RCE companies in and around Caen to get the units, equipment and markings correct.

    Cheers,

    Neil
