Hello Clive, I have just found a tiny snippet of film footage from the Canadians at Campobasso where Reg was killed. Clearly shows the Air Landing lads digging in with pack howitzers.

The circumstances of Albert Barkham's death, together with a photon of him, are contained in the book "Arnhem Bridge, Target Mike One". Although the main focus of this book is the story of the Regiment at Arnhem it also covers their early service in North Africa and Italy.

Jonathan Ball It's a way of life.

The GPO above is Lieutenant Tom Barron. He went on to fight at Arnhem where he was one of those who managed to get away across the Rhine at the end of the battle.
