1 RTR at Verrières village - 25 July 1944 - but which squadron?

Hello everyone

I can't find which squadron fought at Verrières village on 25 July 1944 with the RHLI in fighting off the Waffen-SS. Any info?

Any screenshots of the 1 RTR war diary would be great if possible.

I've attached the war diary for the 17th July but unfortunately it does not say which squadron was in Verrieres

 

Sorry I somehow read the date you wanted wrong, I've attached the 24th and 25th July.

It appears 2 troops of C Sqn went to support on the 24th July west of Verrieres.

I have the June war diary on my site 1st Bn Royal Tank Regiment June 1944, War Diary » Normandy War Guide I'll try to get July added soon
