Lt. Edwards commanded T5937 (presume this was an A10 cruiser tank) in B Squadron 1 R.T.R. during the initial stages of the breakout from Tobruk. At 0700 hours when at the startline his tank threw a track. B Squadron was bringing up the rear of the regiment, and once the track trouble was sorted out Lt. Edwards led the squadron. Shortly after 0915 hours on 21 November, 25 yards short of a minefield, he was shot and killed by a sniper. His tank then blew up in the minefield. http://rommelsriposte.com/2010/11/30/not-a-good-day-at-the-office-%E2%80%93-1-rtr-and-the-first-day-of-the-tobruk-breakout/ Lest we forget. All the best Andreas
