141 RAC War diary wanted

    Can anyone help please. Looking for the war diary of 141 R A C September 1944. Cheers Steve.

    Hi. Thanks for the link but can only see the diary entries for june july and august.. Nothing for september. 44

    The obvious answer is to be patient and wait for The National Archives to restart their copying service if you can't get there yourself.

    An alternative would be to contact the Tank Museum to see if they hold a copy and, if so, be willing to copy it for you.

    Thanks for that. As i'm not know for my patient nature, I will try the Tank museum route for my final war diary .

    And finally, you could also engage somebody to copy the file for you privately. TNA has reopened its doors to researchers, but in a limited fashion. Drew5233 copies files on request at very reasonable rates. But l suspect he's not going there so often at the moment.

    From another member. Note assembled by Tank Museum, Bovington in 2020 and the language at times is laconic. Covers Nov 1941 - Nov 1945.
