Charley Thanks so much for the valuable info . It explains what Dennis Taylor was doing in the Gambia , the dates tally exactly with his service records and its good to know he was involved in carrying out valuable field trials of the radios. I am carrying out this research for his widow who wants her two sons to know what their father did in WW2 . I have also agreed my next task for her will be researching her father who served with the Kings Own Scottish Borderers and who was at Gallipoli and when that is done then its her grandfather who served in the second Afghan war , In a safe deposit she has all their medals thanks once again Clive
