    Hi

Apologies if this is the wrong forum but I have recently joined the forum to look for information on my recently deceased grandad's units in Burma.

He was a nurse originally attached to the 165th Indian Field Ambulance (A/T?) Unit. Luckily he wrote a brief history of his time in Burma before he died and we know he was also attached to the 7th Indian Division for a short time and finally No8 Indian Mobile Surgical Unit which he informed us was working behind enemy lines.

Does anyone have any idea on where I can find information on these units particularly the 165th Field Ambulance and No 8 ISU?

    Many thanks in advance

    Andy

Don't know, but you'll find help here and thanks for your grandfather's service to Crown and Country!
