    Hello all!

I'm on here looking for info about the 209 Squadron who flew Catalina's out of Iceland, mostly looking for info on Flying Sergeant's. My particular interest is in regards to my husband's grandfather, Albert Eccleston, who was a Flying Sergeant with the 209 Coastal Command and flew Catalina's until the squad left Iceland. He then became an instructor in Tiger Moth's until approx. 1943 when he was medically discharged after a flying accident.

Any info on this particular unit within the RAF Coastal Command or if anyone has info about Albert Eccleston, is greatly welcome and would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
