    In the M.E. has experimented with and constructed various mine detectors.
    His most recent pattern has been tested by C.E., 30 Corps and its performance, battery consumption and size is considered superior to any known type of mine detector with the exception of the American Type.
    He has also made a device for checking the alignment of the B Set of the No. 19 Wireless Set which has been improved upon and adopted by S.E.E., M.E.
