2737880 Haydn NICHOLLS, 3rd Battalion Welsh Guards - army wounding records 11.2.1944

My father was in 3rd Battalion Welsh Guards, Haydn Nicholls, service number 2737880, and was wounded in Montecassino on 11th February 1944. Would someone on here have access to the army wounding records please? I am trying to find out which company he was in and this information may help me. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum.

By “Army Wounding Records” do you mean the official Casualty Lists that have been available on Findmypast for some years and have recently become available on Ancestry? If so a hopeful member may assist but if you visit your local library you may find there is free access to one or both of the sites.

You may also find some helpful information in the unit war diary.

Although originally reported, his casualty list entry was subsequently deleted as "Not battle casualty". The lists do not generally go down to company level.
