I wonder if any of you could help with my ongoing family tree research. My great uncle Richard Henry Rose Lance Corporal 4397926 of the 2nd battalion Green Howard's died on 18.05.1943. And that's literally all i know of him. My late mother said she thought she could remember something about an accident and he possibly drowned and his body never recovered. If anyone could shed any light on where about the 2nd battalion would be around that time i would be very grateful.
