Can you post up the Dutch accounts?

No, as they will be kept for a book about 10th Para

Blimey - it's like London buses - nothing for years then three come along together.

When do you anticipate your book will be released Philip?

Not by me, I stop doing Arnhem publications, have found another hobby, and are looking for a buyer, for the whole collection, so if some has won the lottery, please contact me and maybe we can make a good deal

    Folks,
Attached are a number of pics taken for the 18th Mar 1944 edition of Picture Post. According to the book The Tenth they were taken of 10th Parachute Battalion personnel. My scanner is not quit wide enough so some bits are missing. Can anyone name anyone in the pics.

    Regards

    Steve

    This was my grandfathers brother
Didn't know if there had been anymore new information or diary that had been seen or found to see if he did die on the railway track
    Kind regards John glazier

I came across this aircraft manifest in the 10th Bn Parachute Regiment missing folder (WO361/625) and thought it might be of interest:

If anyone is interested in any particular 10th Bn missing I am very happy to have a look to see if there are any details in the file.

    Regards

I also came across this letter from 21 Army GHQ 2nd Echelon to the War Office department in Liverpool who seem to have been responsible for gathering information about missing personnel. It contains reference to 'officers' statements' gathered in the immediate aftermath of the operation but frustratingly they are not enclosed in the missing personnel file WO361/625. Does anyone have any ideas as to where else they might be, if they have survived?

    2nd Echelon Letter - Oct 44.JPG

The pencil annotation of 93 OR's and 3 officers in the bottom left hand corner doesn't match up with the number recorded evacuated by Martin Middlebrook.

BTW - I've transcribed most of the letters contained in the missing personnel file, if anyone is interested I'd be happy to post them up here.

    Regards

    Tom
