336 LAA Battery, 102 Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery - NOMINAL ROLL NOVEMBER 1945

Received some great information today from the relative of someone who served in the same battery as my Dad. (Thanks to the family of B.S.M. P.G. Dowdall, M.B.E.)

A nominal roll of 180 NCOs and Gunners of the battery as at November 1945, whilst based at Mariensel, Wilhelmshaven. Great to see my Dad's name on some paperwork at last (Apart from his service records of course).

Well done Rob, what a great thing to have, very pleased for you. There's your dad right in the middle!
You know how rare nominal rolls for OR's are to find.
Have had to construct mine from 8 years of research and still well short on gunners.

hi all fantastic site i think i have found my uncle on here Tom Trotter would love to find a bit more information ,he is 99 year old and has some memories that passed on to me but his memory comes and goes, any help appreciated

Is that your Uncle's photo. If so, I can see he has got a Legion d'honneur.

His name is in the list of names of men from my Dad's Battery. I was sent a copy by another family. I will be in touch soon.
