  1. Hi there, I realise this is a very late response, but if you are still interested, I would be happy to share with you the Regiment's book? It goes into pretty good detail of their fighting and actions throughout the war.

    Everyone on this forum seems so helpful in finding records and tracking down info... I'm wondering how we would determine Sydney Leonard Barwick's birthday?

    From information supplied previously he was 33 when he died and born in Cornwall, I would be fairly certain this is him. note order of first names. A birth certificate can be ordered online.

    Mary and her 4 children left for Halifax, Nova Scotia onboard the 'Arabic' leaving Liverpool 24 April 1913.
