    Hello,
A friend has had for several years an outfit of an English soldier Battle dress 1943. He found a label with the soldier's name. Jotstad Oliver.R. ASN: 37283112. He wants to know who this man was.
    Regards,
    Dan

That is a US made garment supplied under Lend Lease. Also the style of lettering is distinctly not British. I suspect this may be a wartime or Post War Marshall Plan issue from US stocks to another European country.

This isn't a US made Lend Lease jacket for British troops, its the other way round - its a British made reverse Lend Lease Jacket for US troops.

I'd agree with the above comments that its not a British service number, its possibly a US Army number(not sure how to check those) or as suggested supplied on to a European nation and issued to their forces.
