    Hello again DRyan67!

I'm looking at 39th Indian Light Division in July/August 1943. It was ordered to move to Saharanpur in August 1943 to become a training division. I'm looking at when it's two brigades (106th & 113th) swapped out it's battalions. Kempton has the new battalions joining in July 1943 and the original battalions going to other formations. Did the new battalions arrive at Lohardaga and join the brigades before they moved to Central Command or are the dates incorrect?

    Many thanks in advance

Here are the dates I have for the 106th and 113th Indian Infantry Brigades. They dates are gathered from official histories, regimental histories and the privately published volumes by Perry, F.W. entitled The Armies of the Commonwealth: Volumes 3A & 3B. Perry's books are located at the National Army Museum Library. Other sources were used as well including Kempton.
